1) HOW LONG IS A TYPICAL THERAPY SESSION AND HOW FREQUENTLY SHOULD I ATTEND?
A standard individual session is 45-50 minutes. Longer sessions are recommended for couples: typically 90 minutes to two hours.
Regarding frequency, consistency is key. We see clients a minimum of one time per week. More frequent sessions are recommended to gain deeper understanding.
You and your therapist will work together to determine your unique therapeutic needs and recommended frequency of sessions.
2) HOW MUCH DOES THERAPY COST?
Each therapist sets their own standard fee. Please select the “Learn More” option in each therapist’s bio to find out more about their fee structure or contact them directly to find out more. Discussing financial matters directly with your therapist is important and meaningful, so please don’t be shy.

4) DO YOU OFFER A SLIDING SCALE?
Each therapist offers a limited number of sliding scale appointments. Please contact us to find out more.
5) DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
We are not part of any insurance company networks and payment is due at the time of service (we accept cash, check, credit card or HSA cards).
We are, however, an out-of-network provider for most PPO insurance plans. If you have a PPO insurance plan, please let us know during your consultation or 1st session, and at the end of each month we can submit an electronic claim to your PPO on your behalf. For detailed information about what (if any) reimbursements you can expect from your plan, you can call your insurance and ask for an explanation of the “outpatient mental health benefits for an out-of-network provider”. Each PPO plan is different – Most require that you must first meet a deductible, and then they will begin to reimburse you directly for a percentage of each approved therapy session cost.
When using your PPO benefits, full payment is still due to your therapist at the time of each session. If your plan reimburses for out-of-network therapy, then you will receive a reimbursement check mailed directly to you from your insurance company.
6) WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
We are located in Burbank, right off the “Hollywood Way” exit of the 134 freeway. Our office neighbors the cities of Toluca Lake, Studio City, Glendale, Valley Village, and North Hollywood, and is close to Warner Bros., Disney, Dreamworks, Universal and Nickelodeon Studios as well as Bob’s Big Boy.
