“To try therapy is to bet on hope: that maybe life could be different, more
vibrant and rich than you ever imagined.”

A Note From Davy:

Many of my clients feel beat up by their own emotions or worry they’re “too much” for the people around them. Some feel hesitant about therapy but carry a quiet hope that maybe life could be different. Others aren’t sure what they need—only that they definitely need someone who will truly listen. I work well with teens confronting life, anyone confronting loss, and those who’ve learned to hide parts of themselves.

I see therapy as a sacred process. I don’t rush to judgment; I don’t fire off quick opinions. Dark humor, dry sarcasm, quiet heartbreak, ecstatic silliness—there’s room for the entirety of your experience.

People describe me as kind, steady, curious, and a bit cheeky. Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years as a portrait photographer. What first drew me to photography—a commitment to truly “seeing” someone and reflecting the best in them—eventually led me to therapy. I still love photography. I also enjoy pickleball, history, sunshine, and trying new food.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Communication from the College of Charleston and a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Oaks College. I’m a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT 153059), supervised by Jennifer Flores (LMFT 92351). I’m also certified in Prepare/Enrich couples therapy.
