“I believe it’s possible for my clients to thrive – to live a life full of intention and joy.“
We can find ourselves in a state of paralysis, disconnected from the world around us and numb to our very own being. These feelings can rob us of the spark that pushes us to keep going. I understand that dark place and I am here to navigate it with you.
Therapy is a sacred relationship, rooted in empathy, where I will guide you through a process of understanding yourself and how your history has shaped you. Life’s most difficult issues cannot be solved instantly but together we can lighten the emotional load until we work to figure things out. You do not have to bear sadness alone – I will hold the unknown with you. That is where the deep healing is – in the mystery. Once you experience that healing, you can become empowered and equipped to guide yourself through life’s challenges.
I received my bachelor’s in Film & Television from UCLA and my master’s in Marital and Family Therapy from Fuller’s Graduate School of Psychology. Integrating the parallel universes of film and therapy, I understand the systemic nature of our issues, allowing me to approach my work with you with expertise and a touch of creativity and sass.
I hold a certification in Restoration Therapy, a specialized treatment to help couples and individuals who have felt unloved and unsafe in their relationships achieve increased understanding and healing. I also hold a certification in PREPARE/ENRICH, which allows me to administer premarital and marital assessments to identify a couples’ strengths and growth areas. I am currently an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT 102982) working under the supervision of Jennifer Flores (LMFT 92351).
